Daphne du Maurier’s Legacy
I’m currently the co-editor of an edited collection around the many cultural afterlives of Daphne du Maurier’s Rebecca. This collection will be published towards mid 2024 and is based on some of the great discussions we have had during the symposium in 2022.

Media, Arts and Humanities Creative Outlets Initiative
A project started by a group of doctoral researchers in the School of Media, Arts and Humanities to continue the PhD support groups with a focus on arts and crafts. I was one of the three founders and organised it for two academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/ 2022.
This initiative aimed to provide a space for PhD researcher to relax and engage in creative outlets to move away from the mentally straining work of writing a thesis to a more physical and creative processes within arts and crafts. It allowed for a space to bring together researcher on a regular basis without having to speak about PhD related work, which disrupts the working day and allows for a breather. The initiative also created a space for researcher to share and reflect on common problems and obstacles in the life of a PhD researcher that are not necessarily related to the thesis work. This initiative features a theme in each of our crafts sessions including concerns around teaching, supervision, allowing for a work/life balance, the viva process, working process, working space, building communities and celebrating success.

Research in Progress Seminars
I co-organised regular research in progress seminars for Media, Arts and Humanities doctoral researchers in the academic years 2019/2020 and 2021/2022.
Presentations were invited about aspect of the PhD project and could take up to 20 minutes, followed by discussions. Non-standard and practice-based presentations / activities were of course welcome. These seminars were an opportunity to try out ideas and get constructive feedback regarding doctoral research in a friendly and supportive environment. Researchers at any stage of their doctorate - from planning to writing up - were welcome to present.

Cross Country - Connect India
Twenty-two travellers. Two countries. Twenty-eight days. The ultimate guide to visiting India from England, and England from India. Cross Country chronicles the experiences on an exchange project between the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University and the Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts at Symbiosis International University: 10 BU students visited SSLA in April 2016, while 12 students from the SSLA spent a fortnight in BU in May 2016.
I was part of this exchange project in 2016. You can find more info about the project here
